Chris has cut a trailer/teaser for Raven and is now available online. Click here...
Post-production update: steady as she goes, things are falling into place. Chris is close to a final cut, then we venture into sound mixing. To make Raven the best it can possibly be, we are strongly considering an "up-res" enhancement to improve the video's resolution. The image quality will improve, adding more of a true film look to Raven!
As for release, we will let you know! As the trailer suggests, late Spring is our deadline and we're sticking to it. We look forward to premiering this 25-minute movie to a local arts theatre, then submitting to film festivals across the country. Be ready!
I just realized I haven't sent out an update in a long time, so here's some news!!
As you know, we shot the roadside scene in July, and I've been editing since then. And except for a six-week-long computer crash in August/September, it's been going pretty steadily. I think this is the strongest scene in the film (thanks to all the great actors acting really creepy). I have a few finishing touches on the other scenes, then we lay in the sound fx, music, and we should have a short film! Finally.
Ol' Chrisser is trying really hard now that I have some free time (having one instead of two jobs now kind of gives me that chance ya know, hehe) to have this out by Xmas, and then we'll see how it does in the festivals if anything.
Of course, I will let you know about all 'premieres' and such, and you will all get a copy or two of the DVD. I will probably release an extended edition with behind-the-scenes and still photographs early 2006. If the movie gets into a festival or something, I'll put in some audio commentary or something. But that's in the future.
I'm cutting a trailer as we speak and we'll upload to Lune De Loup and generate interest. Lots and lots of interest.
And to quell fancies, I've set up my Flickr page, and Raven production stills are up and running. Coo? Peep these my peeps:

I've got VF photos on there too. And Driving Home photos as well. Enjoy.
Cheers,
Chris (Director)
Well, folks, we have just proven that art can become a reality! The Lune De Loup crew rose to the occasion once again by getting Raven shot without anyone getting arrested or shot! The bulk of shooting took place in Roosevelt National Forest on the first weekend of March, with pickups two weekends after.
We have one more scene to shoot in the next couple weeks in Boulder, then we wrap! It's a sincere pleasure working with a powerhouse trio of actors (that's no exaggeration) who endured inclement weather and a first-time director; their commitment to this project has been duly noted not only by Chris but by the crew as well.
Post-production has already begun, and we are excited to release Raven for a public showing sometime in early June. Until then, don't walk across snow fields by yourself and get off your computer and do something!
Two weekends of shooting down, one to go!
I'd like to thank you all just for being fans. You'll be pleased to know that we've selected our actors and are moving forward! (Ruff ruff). We're working hard finding locations, finalizing the shotlist, and seeking a fair share of cash to support the project. Stay tuned next week for another Raven update. Merry Crimble!
Lune de Loup is pleased to announce a new short entitled Raven, or, Some Like It Absolutely Freezing. Currently in pre-production, shooting is planned for early 2005. Written and directed by Chris Enzaldo, produced by Justin Jones.
